Hi everyone! Today I’m sharing some cute animal shaker card inspiration using layered papers, mixed media textures, and an adorable sleeping deer digi stamp, Candi. She’s from the amazing company Freakin Cute Stamps. Isn’t she the sweetest little deer? As soon as I saw her, I knew that I wanted to have her sleeping on the moon in her very own dream world.
I knew that I wanted to use my favorite snow globe die with her, so I grabbed my Honey Bee Stamps Snow Globe and Ornament die. I created a moon using Word, making sure it was the same size as my snow globe die, and nestled Candi on top. I printed it, colored it with my Copic markers, and fussy cut it.
To make the night sky, I used some heavy black cardstock and sprayed it with some Distress Mica Spray (Winterberry, Shiny Bauble, Hocus Pocus). Isn’t that shimmer wonderful? The shaker mix is from a variety of sequin mixes from Sweet November Stamps.
